In April 2017 Brittany Pottinger along with nine other students from Flinders Christian Community College spent ten days at the Woolaning Homeland Christian School, two hours south of Darwin. Their mission was to donate a recycled plastic bench from Replas to the Aboriginal students with their school emblem engraved on the seat! Flinders students and teachers have been visiting the Darwin school since 2014 to help staff deliver literacy and numeracy programs to the aboriginal students.

Now in September 2017, Brittany and her family have hosted ten students to show them the city of Melbourne and of course, visited the Replas showroom! As the students were familiar with Replas and they work they have done and donations, they were exciting to see where the magic happens and the other products produced by Replas. The students had a blast in the showroom and their entire trip down in Victoria.

“The College provides education, training and care for around 60 secondary aged Indigenous students, who Board at Woolaning during (six by six week) school terms in purpose-built Family Group Home accommodation.” – Woolaning Homeland Christian School
