Kelso Park is a high-usage sportsground in the suburb of Panania, south of Sydney. There the Bankstown City Council recently installed a series of 150mm round recycled-plastic bollards, to prevent visitors parking their vehicles on the grass, particularly  during busy Saturday morning soccer. These bollards form an effective barricade to keep the cars on the car park so the footballers can make full use of the fields. As well as being used by the junior soccer clubs located around Panania, Kelso Park is also the training ground for Bankstown District Amateur Football Association’s local teams.
