Enduroplank™ is a recycled-plastic decking which represents the very latest in technology. This hard-wearing material not only offers you a sturdy long-lasting and maintenance-free product, but also provides an ethical alternative to using timber. It is ideal for a myriad of commercial applications and is especially suitable for marine environments as salt water will not corrode the material, even when submerged.
Slip resistance
Enduroplank™ has a grooved surface which provides excellent slip resistance, currently rated at R10 according to Australian standards. Where a superior slip resistance is required an application of Replas Sand Coating can be applied to new or existing installations increasing the rating to R12 which gives it a class V slip resistance. Bicycle Network Victoria recommends that all, ‘new sealed surfaces for cycling should provide class V slip resistance with a mean BPN of 60 or more’.
Installation: Enduroplank™ is easy to install due to the consistency and uniformity of the product. It can be installed in much the same way as timber, using similar equipment. Securing the planks to your supporting structure is very easy, we suggest pre-drilling and counter sinking. It is not recommended that Enduroplank™ be laid longitudinally, due to expansion and contraction issues.
