More recycled plastic products from Replas are being installed in the new residential development in Thurgoona, New South Wales “for their low maintenance and good looks,” explains Julianne Edwards, Landscape Projects & Administration for Enviro Culture Services. “Brooklyn Fields Estate is nestled amongst Bush Reserves and has a number of specially designed constructed wetlands weaving through the estate,” said Julianne. “These wetlands were provided as an environmental enhancement to the breeding habitat for a tiny local – the threatened special froglet (Sloanes Froglet). The recycled plastic material of Brolga Bollards with cable infill were an ideal low maintenance choice to section off wetland areas subject to fluctuating water levels while subtly blending in with the surrounding bush-land.” The Brolga Bollard from Replas is tall and slender with a unique double wall construction, offering more rigidity which adds to the strength of the installation. The hollow centre means a strong, lightweight bollard for cheaper transport and easier installation. This Enviro Culture Services installation has the Brolga Bollards linked with cable wire to make a fence barrier. And like all recycled plastic products from Replas, these Brolga Bollards will not split, rot, crack or ever need painting.
