In June 2019, Seven Acre Rock recreation site in Yarra State Forest, Victoria, upgraded their facilities with recycled plastic Brolga Bollards from Replas. Tania Hoare, Forest Management and Roading Officer of DELWP explained, “this site gets thousands of visitors a year and has an amazing outlook to the Port Phillip and Western Port Bay on a clear day.” Brolga Bollards from Replas are tall and slender with an elegant profile, equally at home in coastal, wetland or park areas. The unique double wall construction offers more rigidity, adding to the strength of the installation. A hollow centre in the bollards means although extremely light weight, they are cheaper to transport and easier to install. “The site has had a toilet replaced, new bollards, layout and picnic toilets,” said Tania. “As you can see, the Replas bollards are looking great.” Like all recycled plastic products from Replas, these Brolga Bollards will not rot, split or crack and will never need painting. The low maintenance aspect allows Parks Victoria and DELWP to use their resources on other areas of their national parks, resting assured these Brolga Bollards will outlast any alternative material.
