Bathurst Regional Council in Central West NSW, have installed recycled plastic Brolga Bollards around their Aquatic Centre to prevent cars from driving on the grassed area. The Brolga Bollard is tall and slender with an elegant profile and is equally at home in coastal or wetland areas. The unique double wall construction offers more rigidity which adds to the strength of the installation. While a hollow centre means although the bollards are strong they are extremely lightweight, making them cheaper to transport and easier to install. As is the case with all recycled plastic products, these bollards require minimal maintenance and are resistant to white ants and termites. They will not split, rot, crack, or ever need painting – a long lasting solution for Bathurst Regional Council.
