A recycled-plastic beach viewing platform and access path at Raspins Beach in Tasmania, was chosen because it would have minimal impact on the landscape and cope with the coastal conditions. Twelve months after installation it has proven to be the perfect choice.

‘The walkway section was tested by a severe beach eroding storm several weeks after installation. As expected, the ‘flexible walkway’ movement was totally successful and the path merely reshaped to the eroded contours. The measure of the success of material and design is the fact that no repairs or maintenance was required as a result of the storm and the path remains fully functional.’
