In Lakemba, a metropolitan Sydney suburb, the Canterbury City Council uses Replas products in its parks and gardens. At Lakemba Community Garden, beds made using 90 x 90mm and 65 x 90mm recycled plastic profiles have been constructed, while a 100mm bollard is in use supporting the garden’s water supply.

Lakemba Community Garden was established in 2011 to offer nearby residents, many of whom do not have their own gardens, the opportunity to grow vegetables and herbs in a social setting. It is located in Jubilee Reserve on the corner of Railway Pde and Bellevue St., Lakemba, and has proved very popular within the community. For local residents, it is a great resource. For the Council, it is a virtually maintenance-free solution using a product that will last the distance for growing seasons to come.
