Toowoomba Regional Council have recently installed several Premier Settings and Kakadu Seats at the Cooby Dam Wall day use area. The recycled plastic furniture from Replas is in addition to the several hundred Brolga Bollards that have been installed over the past two years. Replas Premier Settings offer greater legroom thanks to the clever design of the bench and table supports, Toowoomba Regional Council have chosen the three support option for the picnic area. The recycled plastic Kakadu Seat is a straight back seat with graceful sculptured supports, in this case the free standing option was chosen. For further enhancement, black metal armrests are available. And the durable, long lasting Brolga Bollards that have surrounded Cooby Dam Wall the past two years, are tall and slender with an elegant profile.  The unique double wall construction offers more rigidity which adds to the strength of the installation. A hollow centre means although the bollards are strong they are extremely lightweight, making them cheaper to transport and easier to install.

“The area offers walking tracks, shelters and free gas barbecue facilities. The lake is water supply for the Toowoomba Region and is a habitat with waterbirds and rich population of bush birds, particularly along the trail. If you sit quietly you may be able to also see a wide range of wildlife including koalas, possums, echidna and wallabies.”
