The largest agricultural show in the Southern Hemisphere kicked off to a rainy start on June 11th and will run until June 14th. Annually held at Mystery Creek Events Centre, New Zealand, last year the event drew over 120,000 visitors to the area.
A misty morning start to the 45th New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays gave way to a bright sunny morning. Over 11,000 visitors poured through the gates in the first half hour of opening and by the end of the day 26,000 people had the opportunity to visit the Replas display area.
Competition was stiff on the last day at the 45th New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays to guess how many two-litre milk bottles made up a Dolphin Beachcomber Seat. By the end of the day the rain came down, just as the display tent did, on what was a very successful expo for the Replas team.
Replas won the award for Highly Commended Outdoor Stand at Civenex 2013 for its exciting display of innovative recycled-plastic products.
Keep Australia Beautiful and Replas share a common goal to inspire and help the Australian community care for the environment. During Agfest 2013 they also shared a display area and will continue this arrangement next year as the two organisations have so much in common.
