Mosman, NSW is a place of history and beauty eight km north-east of Sydney’s CBD on the lower north shore. The area is home to the world famous Taronga Zoo, as well as excellent harbourside swimming and recreation areas, top restaurants and a host of high-end retailers.

When Mosman Rotary Club invited Replas to attend their Tuesday luncheon meeting recently, Sydney-based Bert Meyer took the opportunity to speak about recycled plastic. Bert spent an enjoyable and informative 30 minutes talking to members about all the useful and cost-effective products that waste plastic can turn into. Many members were taken somewhat by surprise when Bert showed a photo of the recycled plastic seating at Taronga Zoo’s bird aviary. Especially as it has been right in the community’s back yard all along! This installation used 3.6 m lengths of Replas  90 mm x 40 mm recycled plastic profiles in grey.
