The Royal Melbourne Show is a staple of the city’s annual calendar. Prior to the show’s official opening, several lucky local schools get to have a sneak peek at the Education Hub. This busy area comprises of 6 activity stations each focusing on a different part of the environment. There were innovative ideas for growing fruit and vegetables, and keeping chickens in the home as well as a huge array of farm animals.
In amongst the llamas, donkeys and goats, Replas created a little nest where the students were amazed to see many of the things that can be made from recycled plastic. Over 600 students had the opportunity to visit the Education Hub and take home valuable ideas about recycling in their homes and schools.
