Cranbrook State School in Townsville, Queensland, has updated their outside after school care area with recycled plastic settings from Replas. Outside School Hours Care Coordinator, Nicole Powell, was looking for products that would “withstand time, weather and 80 children – we found this in the Replas furniture.” The 3-support Premier Slimline Settings with Lyrebird Benches, compliments the school colours, while the Kookaburra Settings have a chess board insert for students to enjoy. “Not only do they look fantastic, but they will outlast the children,” says Nicole. “Replas were fantastic and made the colour to order to fit into our centre.” The recycled plastic settings and benches will not rot, split or crack like alternative materials, making it safe for the students and staff. A Queensland benefit? Recycled plastic products are resistant to termites and moisture, outlasting timber products with minimal maintenance required to match. Cranbrook Outside School Hours Care will have durable recycled plastic settings and benches for many after school days, and years, to come.
