The Essendon Football Club is famous for wearing red and black, but last year it also went green. The ‘Green Precinct’ project is a partnership co-funded by a special Federal Government fund, designed to ‘target high profile public sites that can be upgraded to be significantly more water and energy efficient,’ explains the Minister for Environment, Peter Garret.

The Club has installed specially modified “Bomber Bollards” outside the Social Club, which feature the famous ‘Bomber’ logo and a photo-luminescent dome.
