Back in 2008, Swan Hill Rural City Council installed a large number of Replas 145 mm bollards at the well-known Lake Boga. This is a popular place for visitors to the area, with the water-sport attractions of the lake itself and the flying boat museum on the Murray Valley Highway.

Eight years on and the bollards are looking better than ever. Recognised for their longevity and ability to withstand all the environment has to offer, these recycled plastic bollards have well and truly lived up to their reputation in maintaining their colour and shape. Because the bollards are hollow, the council was able to easily drill holes for fixing a steel chain that runs along the walkway. It’s an effective barrier to cars, keeping all the day trippers and holiday goers safe.
