At Port Noarlunga, South Australia, the local football club has a new fence around their football field, installed using Replas Brolga bollards and galvanised rail. Considering options, the club decided that the recycled plastic bollard’s angled top was perfect as an oval barrier. The Brolga’s shape removes the danger a pointed edge presents to players who may be thrown into the fence during a game.

Port Noarlunga Football Club and Onkaparinga Council are both very happy with the result. It looks smart and tidy, and alongside its practical value it sends a strong sustainability message. The installer was pleased with Replas too. Recycled plastic products are lightweight, easy to handle, and there’s no danger of splinters.

Onkaparinga Council has also used Brolga recycled plastic bollards at the home of McLaren Football Club.
