With over 250,000 pieces of plastic packaging being saved from the ocean and landfill, Rosebud Primary School in Victoria is leading the way with ‘Closing the Loop’ on their recycling program by purchasing two Brunswick Bar Settings and a customised Kingfisher Seat. Assistant Principal, Leigh McQuillen and his colleagues are “so wrapped in how the recycled plastic furniture completes [their] school look.” Leigh continues, “the kids love the multiple seating options in their courtyard and the statement displayed both environmentally and capturing the school values is just so important. The Buddy Benches are designed to highlight our school HEART values, and give children a place to relax and find a friend during breaks.” Rosebud Primary HEART is the acronym for their values – Honesty, Effort, Attitude, Respect, and Teamwork.
