Replas staff were in full support of the Independent Riders’ Group (IRG) at their Ride to Work Breakfast at the Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne. The event was held to promote motorcycle and scooter awareness on our roads, and to initiate change for the good in road safety as it affects our most vulnerable road users.

Speakers at the well-patronised event included Damien Codognotto OAM, founder of the IRG, which advocates for road safety and protecting motorcycle and scooter riders’ right to ride. Also addressing the gathering were Greg Pond from Victorian Scooter Riders’ Association, Hon. Robert Doyle the Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Luke Donnellan MP, the State’s Minister for Roads and Road Safety, and Father Bob, the Larrikin Priest. The message was clear – we are one community. On the roads it is not about us and them, but about the people of one community looking out for each other’s safety.
