On the 28th October, Sustainability Victoria held their 2019 Buy Recycled Conference and Expo in Melbourne, Victoria. More than 300 industry professionals, including Replas, attended the event for an exclusive look at the latest products and materials with recycled content. The topic of the day was the new Post-Consumer Recycled sheeting from Replas. Made from HDPE bottles used for milk , juice and household chemicals and collected via kerbside recycling, this new sheeting is perfect for indoor applications such as chairs, tables and benches, along with vanities, storage, toilet/shower partitions and much more. Territory Manager – Victoria, Kelvin Agg, sat down at the new PCR sheeting Cafe Sheco with the Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change, The Hon. Lily D’Ambrosio MP.
Kelvin and Lily spoke about the industry landscape, and the extensive use of Replas products in National Parks, local Schools and Councils. “Victorians are serious about recycling and reducing waste,’ said Lily. As Environment Minister, she is urging the Federal Government to provide capital investment in recycling infrastructure, and is a strong voice to bring about change and in building a sustainable future.
