At the recent Queensland Rangers Association (QRA) Annual Muster in August 2019, Replas was fortunate enough to spend some time with Ben Klaassen, the Deputy Director/General of Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services (QPWS) at Main Range National Park. Replas Sales and Marketing Director, Mark Jacobsen, and SEQ Territory Manager, Darren White, discussed the Circular Economy and Social Procurement with Ben and the current waste industry challenges that Queensland currently face. The QRA Annual Muster allows Replas to meet with the rangers and influential Directors, like Ben, to discuss implementing and the importance of recycled plastic products installed throughout Queenslands national parks.

“QPWS is charged with the protection and presentation of Queensland’s parks and forests. Careful management is required to protect our parks and forests and safeguard the values that make them important refuges for maintaining biodiversity and vital green spaces and marine areas for our enjoyment.”
