Replas was proud to be involved at today’s community event organised by Bellarine Catchment Network in Geelong, Victoria. Organiser Angie Poole and many volunteers actively participated in a group waste/litter collection session along the Eastern Beach foreshore. Urban Upcycle also made an appearance after recently running a Buddy Bench competition for schools, winning school being San Remo Primary School. Education amongst the volunteers included understanding what plastics Replas processes into their products and a sample of soft plastics was taken away to be used as ingredients for a recycled plastic product from Replas.
“The Bellarine Catchment Network region will work towards healthy, well connected and resilient wetlands, waterways and native vegetation ecosystems; sustainable agricultural and land management practices; and a community which is engaged and involved in protecting and managing the natural environment.”
