From the files of Replas NSW product manager Bert Meyer comes this snippet about his home town of Narromine.
“Passing by the Aero Club, my eyes were drawn to our Replas 100mm x 100mm bollards installed to protect the water hydrants from errant vehicles. This simple but effective barrier really stands out, the black recycled plastic providing a visual contrast with the background and prominent reflectors that clearly identify the hazard at night.
Many people are surprised to learn that flying at Narromine started as early as 1919. Formed just 10 years later, Narromine is Australia’s oldest regional aero club. In 1939 a hangar was constructed that is still in use to this day.”
