Council managers, facility operators, planners and consultants got together at the annual New Zealand Recreation Association conference in November, where they all got the opportunity to talk and learn more about using recycled plastic. NZ distributor Metal Art had a prominent display, and Replas Director of sales & marketing Mark Jacobsen was there to lend a valuable hand.
With the Enduroplank™ installation on State Highway 2 at Clive in the news at the time, there was great interest in recycled plastic boardwalk products. Dog agility equipment was another hot topic, and as always Replas seating drew attention. Metal Art ran a competition to win a Kimberley seat, entry requiring a selfie within a two km radius of the venue Te Papa (NZ’s national museum) with an installed Metal Art or Replas product in the pic. The winner was Antoinette Campbell, Community Development Manager at Napier City Council, who has gifted her prize to the Pirimai Residents Association for use at Pirimai Park. Good on you, Napier!
