At the 2019 LGA Roads and Works Conference in South Australia, Replas Sales and Marketing Director, Mark Jacobsen, met with Tony Siviour, CEO of Renmark Paringa Council. Tony took Mark around the town to show him all of the recycled plastic products that have implemented in the councils district. “We’re here at the Roads and Works conference, just showing Mark some of these bollards that we’ve installed on the river front,” said Tony, showing the 125 mm brown bollards installed at the Murray River. These Replas bollards make a great barrier between the river and the car park, creating a safe park area for visitors. Also along the Murray are Brolga bollards, routed with Park Run metre markers for Renmark Paringa Council residents. “They’ve been here for three years, as you can see, they haven’t deteriorated in that period of time,” continued Tony. “The council installed them as part of our sustainability element of the council. We are really happy with the way they’ve been produced.” Recycled plastic bollards and furniture will not split, rot or crack and have become a great solution for Renmark Paringa Council.
