Racing legend Sir Jack Brabham’s connection with the community of Orange in NSW is well documented and is commemorated in the naming of the local sports ground.

Football shelter sheds at the ground were fitted out with Replas benches, replacing steel seating that, in Orange’s harsh winter climate, were very cold for players to sit on.

Nigel Hobden from Orange City Council said it is great that the seats don’t, ‘don’t require annual repainting’ adding that the, ‘terrific longevity of the product demonstrates to the community that kerbside recycling has benefits’.
