“The product looked great and performed well through assembly and fixing to ground,”explains Dean Walsh from Woodbridge Landscapes, Replas Pro, who installed 14 recycled plastic Premier Benches at Auburn High School in Hawthorn East, VIC. A few year ago, Auburn High School engaged Replas and were interested in the use of recycled plastic products to by showcased at their redeveloped school. The new concreted area will be lined with trees and become the common area for students to sit and eat at the Premier Benches, under the shade of the planted trees. Dean was sure Assistant Principal, Kristie Satilmis, would have been very happy with the process and end result. “Knowing that approximately 110,000 pieces of plastic packaging had been saved from the ocean or landfill by purchasing these products was extremely satisfying and worth sharing with [my] sustainability students,”explained Kristie. Recycled plastic Premier Benches from Replas offers greater legroom thanks to the use of a galvanised steel frame. Available in a selection of colours and sizes, these benches will not rot, split or crack like alternative material, making it safer and longer lasting for the students and faculty at Auburn High School. And as the case with all recycled plastic products from Replas, these benches will require minimal maintenance for the grounds crew. Dean was happy to share his positive points from the installation regarding Replas products, ” neat, accurate work, punctual, straight alignment and they’re on date as agreed.”
