“Our Eco Garden had timber bench seats and a storage cupboard which had fallen in disrepair out in the open air. Given that the outdoor furniture is made of recycled plastic, the Replas furniture can withstand all weather elements and is robust in a primary school environment,” said Karan McDonnell, Principal at Asquith Public School in New South Wales.

Their newly installed Modular Benches from Replas give them the rot, rust, and splinter free benches they have been looking for. “Replas worked with us throughout the process to accommodate our special workbench design and deliver the end product we desired, and [the] product range aligns with our school sustainability practices,” continued Karan. Modular Benches are a versatile solution for any area and can be fixed to an appropriate surface or are heavy enough to be free standing. Modular Benches have approx. 30,000 pieces of plastic packaging!

“The installation of the new seats and workbench provide the teachers a space for outdoor learning and nature play. The students love the new furniture and the ability to take lessons in an outdoor classroom amongst the thriving garden,” said Karan. “There are many learning opportunities taking place using the new Replas furniture. Our P&C community acted in partnership with the school and made a generous donation towards recreating this learning space. The P&C Enviro hub volunteers work diligently in the upkeep of this garden, so it is a nice reward to have complementary furniture within the space.”
