The Australasian Waste and Recycling Expo was held in Darling Harbour NSW the 29th and 30th of August 2018. At this conference, attendees got to test out first hand Replas recycled plastic benches! Andrew Lawson, Event Manager said, “the benches were very well received by the attendees who commented on the fact that they could see the results of the Circular Economy first hand while sitting on the benches listening to the guest speakers.” The 3.6 m Premier Bench offers greater legroom and after 6 years of these particular benches being transported throughout Australia to feature at different expo’s, they truly showcase how virtually maintenance free they are with minimal to no damage after years of shipping. With no worries of rotting, cracking, or splitting like the timber alternative, the guests are safe from splinters. Showcasing recycled plastic products made from the communities waste was an incredible asset to feature what can be done in a Circular Economy.
