Product Information
Recycled plastic Standard Profiles come in a huge range of colours, widths and lengths and are available either rectangular or square. They are suitable for a range of uses such as furniture, signage, boardwalk kick rails and to create many other outdoor products. We do not recommend laying profiles longitudinally due to expansion/contraction issues To fully understand these issues please ensure that you read our Product Properties.
From December 2019, Replas will be adding more of the most problematic waste stream, soft plastic material collected at Coles and Woolworths, into the black product range. This includes our bollards, profiles and furniture supports. Small particles of material will be slightly visible on the surface, however this will not diminish the durability and quality of the product.
Replas is committed to transparency concerning the content of our products, and continually strives to find solutions for the most difficult waste plastic while working towards a Circular Economy. The visible flakes guarantee our authenticity, as we create premium recycled plastic products and address the waste crisis.
As a product made from recycled waste plastic, our profiles may have minor flaws. Replas guarantees that while voids may occur as part of the manufacturing process, the surface finish will be relatively smooth. However, if a client chooses to cut a profile, they may expose an air bubble or void which can be filled. Commitment to using a sustainable product such as ours may incur some visual considerations, however this can be accounted for in most cases. When purchasing Replas profiles it is accepted that occasional voids are possible due to the recycled nature of the product.

Replas’ plastic recycling leads to low maintenance products that are designed to last. Recycled plastic is resistant to termites, microorganisms and moisture, and will never split, rot, crack or need painting. Through the REDcycle Program Replas is proud to partner with companies, such as Coles and Woolworths, who have taken responsibility for the plastic waste they create. The soft plastic material collected through the program can be recycled by Replas and turned into products designed for outdoor use within the community.
Replas Environmental Statement
With plastic use on the rise, we need to create a sustainable community that reduces, re-uses and recycles plastics. At Replas, we see waste as a valuable resource, and are part of making this world more sustainable. What is the environmental cost in not being involved in the circular economy? By re-thinking your selection and procurement to recycled plastic products, you become the true recycler. Everyone touches plastic and we must be more accountable and responsible if we are to drive demand for recycled plastic products.
