Crib Point Primary School in Victoria has recently installed a variety of recycled plastic furniture pieces around their school grounds. Business Manager at Crib Point, Kerry Sorenson, said, “We had timber benches and seating that we replaced with recycled plastic furniture and Replas had an established reputation and a wide variety of furniture.” In-ground Premier Settings and Benches, along with custom bench furniture from recycled plastic profiles were installed by Replas Pro Dean Walsh from Woodbridge Landscapes. “[We were surprised] how well they blended into our natural looking environment,” said Kerry. “I was worried that being plastic, they might stand out too much and not look like they belonged, but they blended in beautifully and complimented the environment by giving it a modern face lift.” Premier Settings and Benches from Replas offer greater legroom due to the design and use of galvanised steel frames. Along with the custom furniture from recycled plastic profiles, Replas furniture will not rot, split or crack like alternative material, making it safe and long lasting for students and faculty. “Our school community has lobed the new furniture, it is safe to sit on, well placed and perfect for our needs. We look forward to a longer lasting furniture that doesn’t fade or stain and is easy to clean,” said Kerry. “Our school places great importance on sustainability and has gone to great lengths to identify new ways to improve our sustainability processes. W have a big recycling program and it was great for the ids to see what happens to their recycled plastic after it is used.” As for the installation of the products, Kerry said the installers were friendly and answered all the kids questions, “we had to do very little and the kids loved watching it all happen.” When asked if Kerry would be keen to use recycled plastic products from Replas again? “Absolutely.” A fantastic installation by Dean and his team at Woodbridge Landscapes, a valued and trusted Replas Pro.
