Peta Murphy MP, Federal Member for Dunkley, visited the Replas Environmental Centre in Carrum Downs, VIC with Managing Director Mark Jacobsen. Ms Murphy spoke in Parliament Monday 26th October about the Recycling and Waste Reduction Bill and of the great work done by Replas. She is not only supportive of past innovation but the new Polyrok sustainable aggregate by Replas – a scaleable solution to thousands of tonnes of the most problematic plastic, soft plastics. Next week, Frankston Council will be the first council in Australia to use Polyrok in both concrete footpaths and sleepers in Seaford. Replas would like to thank Peta Murphy MP for taking the time to visit the REC and explore the possibilities of driving the demand for recycled plastic products in a Circular Economy.
