Recycled-plastic directional signage is proving a hit on the Whadjuk Trail in the western suburbs of Perth. Sally Wallace, WESROC Project Officer at the City of Nedlands tells the story:

‘Replas bollards were selected as they filled our criteria of creating minimal visual clutter whilst remaining functional and assuring longevity. It is encouraging to receive positive comments from users of the trails relating to the clear marking. The prolonged existence of these bollards ensures future savings on installation and maintenance and most importantly minimal disruption to the environment in bushland areas.’
