As part of the continuing upgrade of their Main Street beautification project, Blayney Shire Council in NSW installed 100 recycled-plastic Maritime Bollards. The bollards were chosen for their sustainability and also for the cost comparison against the equivalent cast iron bollard.

Installed on street corners with chains attached, the boundary is designed to channel pedestrians to crossing positions. Not only does the area look much better, but safety on the busy street is now greatly enhanced.

Equivalent of 25,000 plastic bags saved from landfill.
