“The Mooloolaba State School community were so happy with our “Buddy Bench” that we were lucky enough to receive as a competition winner in 2017, so we decided we would love to support Replas again and purchase some furniture for our Anzac Memorial Space,” explains Melanie Taylor of Mooloolaba State School. The new addition to the school includes recycled plastic Kingfisher Seats and 100 mm bollards from Replas. “Our four Kingfisher Seats take pride and place at the front entrance of the school and really compliment the space beautifully,” said Melanie. Recycled plastic seating is durable, long lasting and will not rot, split or crack like other alternative materials, making it safe for students, parents and school faculty.  Melanie explains the recycled plastic furniture and bollards as, “robust, vandal proof, comfortable and have showed no signs of fading or wear since we’ve installed them in late 2018.” Kingfisher Seats feature 40 mm slats for maximum comfort and are resistant to termites and moisture, a perfect fit for outdoor use in the Queensland environment. “Mooloolaba State School take recycling and sustainability very seriously and this was another reason we chose to install Replas furniture within out school,” Melanie continued. “Our school community values the environment and choose to support the way that Replas are reusing and recycling plastic in an extremely environmentally friendly (and clever) way. We would definitely recommend Replas!”
