The harsh Queensland environment requires outdoor products to be durable, long lasting, and termite free. The perfect fit? Recycled plastic products! Mission Beach Camping and Caravan Park in Cassowary Coast Council have installed Replas 100 mm blue bollards and a double plank sign out the front of the entrance to the park. The robust 100 mm bollard has a pyramid-shaped top, an ideal solution wherever rigid barriers are required to define boundaries or deter vehicles and pedestrians. For ease of handling, the 100 mm bollard is partially-hollowed to reduce its weight. The post features a routed collar at the top and also has four holes in the base to fill with concrete when installing. It can also be enhanced with reflectors, is available in a range of colours, and will not split, rot, crack, or ever need painting.
Plank signs are perfect to identify your parkland, school, and sporting or recreational ground. The support poles for the planks are sturdy 125 mm square bollards and the planks are 200 x 40 mm (1.8 m) profiles. The text is routed into the plank and painted. Regulatory plaques can also be routed into the surface like the signage at the caravan park to showcase the council. Like all recycled plastic products from Replas, these bollards and signage are virtually maintenance free and can withstand the tropical weather in northern Queensland.
