“We have recently completed a project for Mackay Regional Council at Queens Park in East Mackay, Queensland,” explains Neil Warren, Sales Director at Mackay Fencing. “The installation included 833 metres of recycled plastic Brolga Bollards from Replas and galvanised pipe rails, as a vehicle barrier around the park,” said Neil. Brolga Bollards, named after the official bird emblem of Queensland, is tall, slender and has an elegant profiles. Equally at home in coastal or wetland areas, the bollard fence is a fit for purpose installation at Queens Park. The unique double wall construction offers more rigidity adding to the strength of the installation, while a hollow centre means although the bollards are strong, they are lightweight, making them cheaper to transport and install. As is the case with all recycled plastic products from Replas, this bollard fence requires minimal maintenance from the council. The bollards will not split, rot, crack or ever need painting. A durable, long lasting solution for the harsh environment in Mackay Regional Council!
