Skipjack Point Lookout just south of Perth, WA. is a purpose-built viewing platform perched on the cliff edge, where visitors gather to enjoy the spectacular Cape Peron coastline and its wildlife.
Built using Enduroplank™ recycled plastic boardwalk decking, the lookout is accessed via the Wanamalu Walk Trail, a feature in itself of the encompassing Francois Peron National Park. Along the way there’s always a chance you’ll see some dolphins, sharks, rays, dugongs, turtles or schools of fish at play in the sea.
The custodians of this wonderful place of natural beauty started the lookout and walkway development project in 2003, doing more work every three to four years. Another 725 Enduroplank™ boards are currently on order that will extend the path all the way back to the car park.
