Royal Life Saving is targeting high-risk areas for drowning deaths such as public pools, with their Keep Watch @ Public Pools program.

Lack of supervision by a responsible adult is believed to be a contributing factor in 70% of drowning related deaths at public pools.

Hay is one of the areas committed to the program, Hay Shire Council has even placed the new Replas’ Kimberley Seat around one of their pools.

Thanks to the smoothed curved back of the seating this has created a comfortable supervision area for families.

The Kimberley Seat also features at the Hay Showground, they just can’t get enough of recycled-plastic!
