It has been ten years since the Enduroplank™ boardwalk was laid across the Junee Wetland, and it has stood the test of time in great style. Where timber by now would be aging and subject to increasing maintenance, the recycled plastic decking of the boardwalk is as serviceable and as good-looking as it was the day it went down. And it gets a lot of traffic. The wetland is a a popular visitor attraction in Junee, a town of 4,400 people in the Riverina region of NSW.  The boardwalk also serves as a well-used connection pathway between subdivisions and the township. Junee residents spoken to have commented that it’s a great testament to recycled plastic and the council’s foresight in embracing such an innovative product.
