Hornsby Shire Council in New South Wales has taken educating into their own hands by having a recycled plastic CLEAR Bollard and Kingfisher seat from Replas at their Recycling Centre in Thornleigh. Located in the drop off area for soft plastics, this is an excellent initiative by the council that encourages people to ask questions and understand what happens to the plastic they are recycling. Michael Neville, Team Leader in Waste Management for Hornsby Shire Council, can be seen in the photos promoting the recycled plastic products from Replas.

“The Thornleigh Community Recycling Centre (CRC) makes it easy for residents to safely dispose of problem wastes that cannot go into household garbage bins or kerbside collection,” says their website, with a full list of what you can recycle at the facility for free.
