Parks Victoria has made great use of recycled plastic at the large boating facility at Patterson River in Carrum, Victoria. Recycled plastic fenders line the tie-up area for boat protection and ease of boarding and alighting, while the boardwalk itself is decked in long-life, slip-resistant brown Enduroplank™. Brown 100 mm square bollards complete the Replas trifecta, separating the boardwalk from the facility’s car and boat trailer parking area.

Patterson River is a man-made waterway created in 1876 to provide drainage from the Dandenong Valley catchment. It as become one of the most popular boating and fishing gateways to Port Phillip. The Parks Victoria facility has four boat ramps and caters for hundreds of boat owners each week, particularly during peak fishing season.
