Enduroplank™ decking is the ideal choice for beach access pathways, as salt water will not corrode the material when submerged. To create the beach access, recycled-plastic slats are used as floating bearers, sturdy Enduroplanks™ are screwed into place, and the sand does the rest.
The grooved finish of the Enduroplank™ ensures a non-slip surface which doesn’t heat up in the sun, due to airflow movement between the raised fins on each plank. Beach access pathways help reduce sand erosion, as they encourage visitors to stick to the official beach entry corridor.
Shown here are several of the eight recycled-plastic beach pathways that have now been installed in Ballina, New South Wales.
