Waste plastic is being used in Colombia to build houses for the homeless.

Oscar Mendez, founder of Concept Plastics wanted to do something about the overwhelming amount of plastic crowding landfill and set about developing a material that could be used to provide decent housing for the homeless. The result is a building block that fits together like LEGO and can be used to create high-quality, low-cost houses for people in need.

Positive change for people and the environment through recycling.
