The “Cooyar Swinging Bridge Park” is located in sunny Cooyar Queensland and is an ideal free camp site for anyone travelling through Toowoomba Regional Council. Burrowed on the bank high above Cooyar Creek, there is a suspension bridge that crosses the Cooyar Creek. Locals say if you are lucky you may see Platypus and Turtles happily swimming around in the creek below. Adding to the beautiful scenery, Toowoomba Regional Council has installed black recycled plastic bollards around the park to maintain a safe and organised area for overnight campers & day users. Now, whether you’re staying for just the day/afternoon or an overnight camper, the park’s electric barbecue and multiple covered seating areas will help make your stay a comfortable one, also knowing your recycled plastic has kept the area safe, neat, and picturesque.
