Moreton Bay Regional Council in South East Queensland continue to replace timber bollards with recycled plastic Brolga bollards from Replas. Since mid 2018, brown Brolga bollards have been installed across many sites throughout the suburb of Burpengary on Hinchinbrook Court, William Hauton Road. Brolga bollards are tall and slender with an aesthetically pleasing profile that is a fit for purpose product in the harsh Queensland environment. Termite resistant, recycled plastic bollards require minimal maintenance and will not rot, split or crack, creating an easy but durable installation for the council. The unique double wall construction offers more rigidity while a hollow centre means they are extremely lightweight, making them cheaper to transport. A continued improvement for Moreton Bay Regional Council.
