Plants Whitsunday, a preferred Replas Pro, have installed a Brolga Bollard Fence at Conway Beach in the Whitsundays of Queensland. This stainless cabling fence provides a long term, durable solution to protect pedestrians from the new rock wall that was replaced after damage from Cyclone Debbie in 2017. Matt Stokes, Manager at Plants Whitsunday, explains the install, “the bollards were mounted with stainless brackets as the rock work protrudes under the pathway and does not allow for concrete footings. Whitsunday Regional Council and the primary contractor, East Coast Civil, are very happy with the end product.” Brolga Bollards are tall and slender with an elegant profile, the unique double wall construction offers more rigidity adding to the strength of the installation. A hollow centre means although the bollards are strong, they are lightweight, making them cheaper to transport and easier to install. Recycled plastic bollards are the perfect fit for any outdoor area in Queensland as they are resistant to termites and require little maintenance. Another great install by Replas Pro Plants Whitsunday and Whitsunday Regional Council.
