Bass Coast Shire Council have become ‘true recyclers’ in driving the demand for recycled plastic products all around their municipality. Along the coast in Corinella, the playground now has 100 mm bollards with reflectors, profiles to custom furniture and Kimberley Select Seats, in-ground. The robust 100 mm bollard comprises a recycled plastic profile with a pyramid-shaped top. Replas bollards are the ideal solution wherever rigid barriers are required to define boundaries or deter vehicles and pedestrians. For ease of handling, the 100 mm bollard is partially-hollowed to reduce its weight. The post features a routed collar at the top and also has four holes in the base to fill with concrete when installing. The Kimberley Select Seat offers a modern twist on a comfortable old favourite. The combination of extra slats and a more streamlined support results in a design that is both practical and stylish. Recycled plastic profiles come in a huge range of colours, widths and lengths and are available either rectangular or square. They are suitable for a range of uses, like collaborative, custom installations at Corinella playground. As is the case with all recycled plastic products, these bollards and seats will not rot, split or crack and will never need painting. The low maintenance allows Bass Coast Shire Council to use their resources on other parts of the community.
