The Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron on Mornington Peninsula, Victoria was looking for a kick rail system for their wharf. Not only were they seeking a product that would last a significantly long time, but it also had to protect boats from scratching and damage upon impact with the railing.

Replas had the perfect solution. A 138 mm square kick rail installed on a small packer system. In fact the large profiles used were more than ideal for this project. Not only will the kick rail last extremely well under the tough, salty conditions that would otherwise rot wood and corrode steel. But the recycled plastic’s highly durable yet smooth even finish prevents damage to craft should they come into contact with it.

The packing system used creates a gap under the profiles which enables any debris to wash away, meaning a clean environment and significantly reduced maintenance. For members and their crews, an instant and great success!
