Wallara Australia Installs Enduroplank™ Decking At Sensory Garden

Wallara Australia, established in 1959, was created by the local council, parents and passionate volunteers to help children with disabilities in the Dandenong area, while also being an institutional congregate care facility to a community based provider of services. Recently installed at the Sensory Garden in Langwarrin, VIC is a Replas recycled plastic decking platform with the help of Replas Pro SR Engineering. Fiona Hollway, Area Manager in Frankston for Wallara Australia said, “throughout 2017, The Rotary Club of Langwarrin worked tirelessly in its fundraising efforts to make sure that clients at Wallara’s Langwarrin site have a beautiful, tranquil outdoor space where they can relax and enjoy the warmer weather.” From trivia nights to Bunnings BBQs, the Rotary Club raised the funds required and even rolled up their sleeves and provided the labour to install a recycled plastic product in what was once an unusable area. “Replas worked closely with the Langwarrin Rotary and built not only an accessible and solid decking for our Wallara clients, which leads out into the garden, but one that is sustainable and helps to keep waste out of the oceans and landfill,” explained Fiona. “We are truly grateful for this wonderful space and what it means for our clients and the environment.”
