Replas’ large profiles have been created by one of the world’s largest injection moulders, capable of producing high-quality recycled-plastic marine components at an affordable price. The units can be made up to a weight of 550 kg, in a range of rectangular sections.
In a waterfront situation timber components last approximately five years while recycled plastic has a life expectancy of more than 40 years*.
Not only will our large profiles last longer than wood, but the smooth surface of the plastic will not scratch or mark boats while they are moored. Recycled plastic will not warp, rot or shrink and is resistant to marine organisms.
*This does not take into consideration any damage which may be caused by boats when mooring.
